Known as the College Basketball Capital of America, Kansas City hosts more college basketball tournament games than anywhere else in the country each March. Tournaments each March include postseason play for the Big 12 Conference, the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
