J. Rieger & Co. is a landmark American distillery rooted in Kansas City history. Originally founded in 1887, we were once the largest mail-order whiskey house in the country. After being shuttered by Prohibition, we were revived in 2014 by Jacob Rieger’s great-great-great-grandson and a renowned local bartender, ushering in a new golden era for spirits in the Midwest.

Blending heritage with innovation, J. Rieger & Co. has become a modern-day pioneer—creating award-winning spirits like our signature Kansas City Whiskey, introducing the Monogram Solera Reserve, and pushing boundaries with sweet mash fermentation and two-step distillation.
