Lighting the Downtown KC skyline is an opportunity to share a feeling of unity and community across the Kansas City area while also featuring Kansas City as a premier destination.  

Common lighting requests include major sporting events, citywide celebrations and holidays. Public awareness campaigns for health and safety initiatives and other causes are considered on a case-by-case basis. 

Visit KC has sole discretion when approving Downtown Kansas City lighting requests. We encourage you to submit your request below.
