Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation (LSPR) and the City of Lee’s Summit invite you to a free fireworks celebration on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Legacy Park! The gates open to the park at 5 p.m., and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

The fireworks show will be choreographed to music and simulcast on 94.9 KCMO. Concessions, food truck vendors, DJs, and activities for kids 12 and under.

Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and close at 9:00 p.m. or when all the parking venues are full. In the last few years, we have closed the gates by 8:30 p.m. as parking was already full.
