Now in its 18th year, the Lawrence Busker Festival celebrates the art of street performance, bringing world-class entertainers to downtown Lawrence for a weekend of free, family-friendly performances. The festival honors the centuries-old tradition of busking while supporting performing artists and creating experiences for the community.

The 2026 festival features an exceptional roster of talent:

John Higby, the YoYo Man – A multiple Guinness World Record holder who transforms the humble yo-yo into an instrument of jaw-dropping artistry and precision.

The Roustabout Rats and Their Flea Circus – A whimsical and hilarious performance that proves big entertainment can come in the smallest packages.

Jamey Mossengren, the Unicycling Unicorn – Fan favorite Jamey returns to Lawrence with his signature blend of unicycling skill, comedy, and pure imagination.

Scotty Dogs Canine Acrobats – Amazing four-legged performers showcase incredible athletic feats and boundless charm.

The Loud Mime – A raucous vaudeville act that brings old-school theatrical comedy to the streets with physical humor, audience interaction, and plenty to say.
