The 14th Annual JuneteenthKC Heritage Festival is excited to welcome over 25,000 visitors to the 18th & Vine Historic Jazz District in honor of Juneteenth – commemorating the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in the United States learned of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

Two-day festival celebrating culture, entrepreneurship, food, music, and community — with vendors, youth entrepreneurs, live performances, and family activities.
