Join Zhou B Art Center KC on Friday, September 11 for the Closing Reception of Placemaking, the latest Resident Group Exhibition featuring work by artists from across the Zhou B creative community.
Placemaking explores the many ways we understand and create a sense of home. Through a range of perspectives, mediums, and artistic practices, Zhou B resident artists reflect on ideas of belonging, memory, identity, connection, and the places that shape who we are.
The Closing Reception offers one final opportunity to experience the exhibition, connect with participating artists, and spend an evening immersed in the creative community of Zhou B Art Center KC.
The reception takes place alongside Second Fridays Open Studios, giving guests the opportunity to explore the building, visit resident artist studios, discover new work, and experience one of Kansas City’s growing creative communities.
