Wornall/Majors House Museum’s popular series returns to tell the tale of how unaged, often over 100 proof liquor —grew into a smooth staple of American cups. From Civil War soldiers’ daily whiskey rations to the angel’s share lost in charred oak, there’s much to uncover. The evening features whiskey samples, a curated cocktail or two, and a lively historic talk.
