Celebrate the 40th Season of the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra with fabulous strings, soloists, and brilliant music that lights up your life this fall!
The Fabulous 40th Season of KC’s professsional Chamber Orchestra launches the season with brilliant string music in the incredible stone cathedral sounds of Grace and Holy Trinity downtown where they started many years ago. Lighting up your life in the way little else can:
–the fascinating and striking music of Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings
–Vask’s soaring and shimmering Lonely Angel watching over the earth – a beautful meditation for violin soloist and string orchestra, with Anne Marie Brown.
–settings of great romantic poetry in Remembrance by Kansas City’s own Jean Belmont Ford, featuring Alyssa Nance, soprano.
Open the KCCO season with Maestro Bruce Sorrell, the beautiful sounds of the orchestra and two amazing soloists. For tickets, call 816 960-1324 or visit kcchamberorchestra.org.
