May 19 marks the centennial birthday of EL- Hajji Malik El-Shabazz, commonly known as Malcolm X. This community event will highlight the contributions of the human rights activist through poetry, music, an exhibition, and discussion. Light refreshments will be provided.
The program is cosponsored by the National Black United Front- KC Chapter, Kansas City Defender and Community Movement Builders-ATL.
