KANSAS CITY, MO (January 7, 2026) – The Zhou B Art Center Kansas City invites the public to attend the Closing Reception of its annual Resident Group Exhibition, Celebration, on Thursday, January 23rd from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This special evening marks the final opportunity for visitors to experience the exhibition and take one last look at the powerful and diverse works created by the Center’s resident artists before the show officially closes.
Celebration has served as a vibrant reflection of the artistic community housed within the Zhou B Art Center KC, highlighting a wide range of creative voices and practices. The exhibition features an array of mediums, including painting, sculpture, installation, photography, and mixed media, offering audiences a dynamic and immersive experience of contemporary art in Kansas City.
The Closing Reception will offer guests an energetic and welcoming atmosphere with music throughout the evening and a bar with drinks available for purchase, creating an engaging environment to explore the exhibition, connect with artists, and celebrate the culmination of a successful show.

The Zhou B Art Center KC continues to serve as an incubator for emerging and established artists, providing studio spaces, professional development, and public programming that strengthen both local and global art networks. As a sister location to the original Zhou B Art Center in Chicago, the Kansas City location carries forward the Zhou Brothers’ mission of fostering creativity through collaboration.
