Description
Please note that the dining room can be closed off, and the Breakfast Room requires prior approval for renter use. Food and beverages must be served and consumed within the Tureman Mansion. The event organizer is responsible for ensuring that guests will not take any food or drink into the Museum galleries at any time. The Tureman Mansion can accommodate 200 with rental access to the Museum. Parking is available free of charge in the Museum parking lot. There are 50 parking spaces. The Museum has AV equipment available for use without charge when renting the facility. Arrangements to use this equipment must be made in advance. A complete list of options can be provided. PREFERRED VENDORS: Please ask for our preferred vendor's list if you plan to have food, beverages, or flowers. This list has been thoughtfully created through working with vendors who understand the Museum’s food and plant policy to help us protect our exhibitions. If alcoholic beverages are to be served, NMTM must be notified within 30 days of the event to submit the appropriate alcohol request forms to the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) for approval. Only licensed UMKC bartending staff and licensed caterers may serve alcohol.
