Kemper Outdoor Education Center is the office for the Historic Sites and Outdoor Education Division of Jackson County Parks + Rec. It is nestled in the Fleming Park on the east side of Lake Jacomo, the Kemper Outdoor Education Center is a great place for kids and kids at heart to have fun and explore the outdoors. The site is primarily used for field trip programs, special events, rentals, and the popular Jacomo Summer Camp. It is also the home to the very popular Dogtober Fest event that is hosted every October.
