Gather among the graves for FrankenWines, a truly terrifying storytelling event featuring storytellers Park Bucker and Zach Lickerman.

A few weeks before All Hallows’ Eve, we convene in the dark of night at the historic Union Cemetery. Kansas City’s oldest public cemetery is the final resting place of 55,000 souls, including many of the city’s founders, as well as notable politicians, artists, entrepreneurs, veterans, and everyday residents.

This year’s selected stories embody the spirit of The Twilight Zone, so take care to keep your wits about you. Expect the supernatural, the macabre, the suspenseful, and the mind-bending.

Each $20 ticket includes a sweet treat from McLain’s Bakery, as well as boozy and non-alcoholic libations. All attendees must be at least 21 years old.

Seating is offered in a designated grassy area on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring your own blankets and chairs.

Co-presented by Young Friends of the Kansas City Public Library and Union Cemetery Historical Society of Kansas City.
