Join HCA and Missouri Master Naturalist Teala Sadler to witness the magical transition from day to night at Alex George Wetland. At dusk, we will begin our walk to meet the critters of the night emerging from their daytime slumber. We’ll search for a variety of owl species, get to know our local bat population, and experience bioluminescent bugs that light up our skies. 

Bring your own binoculars! We will have a couple pairs to borrow but appreciate when folks bring their own! 

Bring a flash light if it makes you more comfortable! It may be getting dark toward the end of the event, so you’re welcome to bring a flash light if that makes your experience more comfortable.
