WHEN: Saturday, July 4 & Sunday, July 5 (+ the first full weekend of each month)

WHERE: Celebrate our nation’s history and heritage by visiting these participating Kansas City museums, open with special weekend hours:

• National World War I Museum, 2 Memorial Drive, Kansas City, MO, 64108, open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

• Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, 1616 East 18th St., Kansas City, MO, 64108, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday

• Science City at Union Station, 30 W Pershing Rd., Kansas City, MO, 64108, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday

 

WHY: As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, Bank of America is deepening its commitment to the arts and civic education. Through Museums on Us, Bank of America provides its cardholders with free access during the first full weekend of every month to artistic and cultural experiences in Kansas City at celebrated institutions ranging from art, children’s and history museums to aquariums, botanical gardens, and science centers.
