The Gordon Parks Museum located on the campus of Fort Scott Community College, celebrates the life and work of Gordon Parks, internationally know photographer, filmmaker and musician and to use his remarkable life story to teach about artistic creativity, cultural awareness and the role of diversity in our lives. Since its establishment in 2004, the museum has hosted speakers and artists from all over the United States and has featured programs throughout the year that have inspired and educated our visitors, students and community.
