Football season has returned, and in Kansas City, that means it’s time to gather with your family and friends — or even complete strangers — and cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs

If you can’t make it to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for a game, there are still plenty of places to catch the game. One of the most popular is the KC Live! Block in Downtown Kansas City where fans will find a live DJ, contests, trivia, giveaways, food and drink specials, and the biggest screen in the city showing every game this season.

KC Live! Renovations

KC Live Power and Light

Kansas City Live! at the Power & Light District recently underwent a $10 million upgrade, including several changes that football fans will appreciate this season during watch parties.

Power & Light added a new canopy, ceiling heaters and misters at KC Live! for those hot game days early in the season and chilly games in the winter, too. Fans will also be able to enjoy new high-definintion ribbon boards and theatrical lighting to make game day even more immersive.

The district also expanded group seating areas and enhanced bar access to maximize the experience for all guests.

“Our $10 million upgrade of Kansas City Live! is designed to elevate the overall experience and reflects our continued commitment to downtown Kansas City,” John Moncke, president of the Power & Light District, said in a news release.

“KC Live! has long been the heartbeat of P&L, drawing people together for events of every kind. These enhancements reinforce our role as a leading destination for world-class entertainment.”
