Blockbuster Exhibits: "Diana, A Celebration" at Union Station
Diana, A Celebration at Union Station presents a rare look at the life and work of the Princess of Wales. This limited engagement in KC is the public’s final opportunity to see the exhibition in the U.S. before it returns to her family’s estate for the summer. The exhibit runs through June 12.
The international exhibition showcases nine galleries of 150 objects, including Diana’s royal wedding gown, 28 designer dresses, tiaras and jewelry, family heirlooms, personal mementos, home movies and photos.
Diana, A Celebration, is on loan from the Althrop Estate, the Spencer family’s 500-year-old ancestral home, and all proceeds benefit the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund. This limited engagement in Kansas City will be the public’s final opportunity to see the exhibition in the U.S. before it returns to the estate for the summer.
“We are honored to be chosen to present this important international exhibition to our community and the Midwest,” said George Guastello, president and CEO of Union Station Kansas City. “The interest in and anticipation of the coming royal wedding in April will be a complement to our exhibition and allow area residents to experience in person some of the excitement and majesty.”
Tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster locations or the Union Station Box Office. For complete details, go to UnionStation.org.
