Zhou B Art Center KC invites the Kansas City community to the opening of SYMBIOSIS, a new exhibition created in collaboration with Imagine That KC, on Friday, October 2.

Since 2012, Imagine That KC has built a creative community where artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities are supported in developing their artistic practices, exploring new mediums, and sharing their work with audiences throughout Kansas City and beyond.

SYMBIOSIS celebrates what can happen when artists, organizations, and communities create alongside one another. The exhibition brings the work of Imagine That KC artists into Zhou B Art Center KC, creating space for new perspectives, meaningful connections, and creative exchange.

Guests are invited to experience the exhibition, discover the artists and stories behind the work, and celebrate a collaboration rooted in the belief that Kansas City’s arts community is strongest when more artists have opportunities to create, connect, and be seen.
