The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures educates, inspires, and delights people of all ages by collecting, displaying, and interpreting toys and miniatures that illuminate diverse narratives and cultural heritage. Located on the University of Missouri-Kansas City campus, the Museum exhibits the world’s largest collection of fine-scale miniatures and one of the nation’s largest collections of historically significant toys on public display.

Food and beverages must be served and consumed within the Tureman Mansion. The event organizer is responsible for ensuring that guests will not take any food or drink into the Museum galleries at any time. The Tureman Mansion Square Footage: • Dining Room: 334 square feet • Breakfast Room: 196 square feet o (not ADA accessible) • Catering Kitchen: 143 square feet Total Available Space: 1,009 square feet The Tureman Mansion can accommodate: • 80 people standing • 60 in theater-style seating • 45 for a seated dinner • The Tureman Mansion can accommodate 200 with rental access to the Museum The Tureman Breakfast Room can be rented separately for small meetings and accommodates up to 8 individuals, featuring a TV for A/V needs. The Museum offers free parking in its on-site lot for event rentals. During regular public hours, parking is limited. A map showing designated event rental spaces will be provided in advance. For rentals scheduled outside of public hours, the full lot with 50 spaces will be available for guest use. The Museum offers AV equipment for use at no charge when renting the facility. Arrangements to use this equipment must be made in advance. A complete list of options can be provided.
