Next summer, the world’s best arrive in the Heart of America. From every moment of action on the pitch to legendary jazz and world-famous barbecue, here’s all you need to know about a monumental moment for soccer in Kansas City.

With matches across the United States, Canada and Mexico, the tournament takes place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. The opening match will be held in Mexico City and the final will be played in New York/New Jersey.

 Kansas City is slated to host six matches:

Tuesday, June 16 | Group stage
Saturday, June 20 | Group stage
Thursday, June 25 | Group stage
Saturday, June 27 | Group stage
Friday, July 3 | Round of 32
Saturday, July 11 | Quarterfinal

All matches will be held at Kansas City Stadium, also known as GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

 

Fan Festival

Kansas City’s official fan festival will take place on the grounds of the National WWI Museum and Memorial. It’s a beloved gathering place in the heart of the city, previously hosting major events like the 2023 NFL Draft and a pair of performances by pop superstar Chappell Roan.

The institution is the country’s officially designated World War I museum. A towering figure on the Kansas City skyline, the iconic Liberty Memorial celebrates its centennial in 2026.

Tickets

Fans who are residents of the United States, Canada and Mexico are currently invited to enter for a chance to purchase tickets by registering on the official tournament website. The entry period continues until 10 a.m. Central Time on Oct. 31.
