Join us for a FREE, family-friendly celebration at the historic Rice-Tremonti Home as we commemorate the 205th Anniversary of the Santa Fe Trail and Missouri’s Statehood. Throughout the day, visitors of all ages can explore Raytown’s unique connection to America’s westward expansion while enjoying interactive exhibits, historical demonstrations, educational activities, local organizations, and hands-on experiences.

Whether you’re a history enthusiast, looking for a fun family outing, or simply want to discover more about Raytown’s heritage, the Festival of the Trails offers something for everyone. Meet local historians, learn about the Santa Fe, California, and Oregon Trails, and experience the stories that made our community an important stop along America’s frontier.

The event is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Raytown Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism, Raytown Parks & Recreation, the Raytown Historical Society & Museum, Cave Spring Interpretive Center, the Rice-Tremonti Home, and many other community partners.
