Jefferson House Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located in the historic Westside neighborhood of downtown Kansas City, home to an eclectic mix of restaurants, cafes and drinking establishments. The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Crossroads Arts District, World War 1 Museum, Union Station, Boulevard Brewery, Power and Light Entertainment District, including the Sprint Center are all in close proximity.
The 1890‘s Neo-classic brick house, which boasts stunning views of downtown, has been recently restored in a European style, the current owners having moved to Kansas City from the British Channel Island of Jersey, situated nine miles from the northern coast of France. The interior is a mix of old and new, furniture and art; combining colors and beautiful textiles. There is an extensive collection of ceramic work made by Theresa, whose studio is at the rear of Jefferson House.
There are three beautiful suites available at Jefferson House each with its own bathroom and unique style. Each days breakfast is unique and seasonal, often based on a traditional British recipe that’s been given a modern twist.
