Osawatomie Lights on the Lake
Event
Osawatomie's Lights on the Lake is Osawatomie's annual Fourth of July celebration. The event is family-friendly, with a variety of fun-filled activities. The event will have bounce equipment for toddlers to adults, face painting, a balloon artist, various food vendors, live music and we will end the evening with our annual firework spectacular!
Annual Heartland Art Guild International Miniatures Art Show
Event
Over one hundred and eighty small works of art, by artists from all across the United States, Europe, and South Africa. Image size must be twenty-five square inches or less, frame size no more than 50 square inches.
The museum is closed on July 4th.
Open weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed Sundays.
Miami County Fair & Rodeo

Enjoy the week long Miami County Fair! There are booths of vendors showcasing their crafts and products, and 4-H members and individuals who have entered items to be judged, and there is a livestock auction. One highlight of the week is the Miami County Rodeo.
Roots Festival

Come enjoy arts and crafts, food vendors, live music, and more! With a State Championship BBQ cook-off at this event as well, you can be sure there will be something everyone will enjoy.
Freedom Festival
Event
History comes alive at the Freedom Festival. Historical reenactors around the country come to Osawatomie to recreate the Battle of Osawatomie, a key moment in the fight to make Kansas a free state. Visitors are welcome to observe the action while enjoying local fare and listening to live music.
Spring Hill Fall Festival

Spring Hill Fall Festival boasts many different activities including art and crafts, live music, a parade, many different vendors, and even street dancing! Events will be in the following locations; Webster Street (Parade), Vendors (City Park), and Street Dance (Historic Main Street). See website for more information.
