March 7-11, 2026
Welcome to Kansas City—Heart of America, City of Fountains and the proud home of the 2026 NASPA Annual Conference.
The NASPA Annual Conference is the premier student affairs professional development event. Kansas City will host the 108th annual meeting, allowing attendees to connect with colleagues and participate in critical professional development that will inspire and support you in the work you do on campus.
While you’re here, spend time here discovering everything has to offer, from famous barbecue favorites to deeply significant cultural institutions. Here’s where to start exploring during your weekend in Kansas City.
Just down the street
Go for a stroll or grab a RideKC Bike just outside the doors from your hotel. You’ll find everything from locally-roasted coffee to nightly live music and award-winning restaurants.
Take the KC Streetcar
Thanks to the KC Streetcar, you’re minutes away from the River Market, the Crossroads Arts District, Union Station and Crown Center, as well as the National WWI Museum and Memorial. It’s free to ride and doesn’t require a ticket—just step aboard and you’ll be on your way. (Tip: For the closest access point, head to the Metro Center stop at 12th & Main. It’s three blocks east of the Kansas City Convention Center.)
