Ga mee op een schitterende muzikale reis terwijl het Kansas City Symphony ‘The Planets’ van Gustav Holst ten gehore brengt! Deze astrologische en astronomische tocht omvat een strijdlustige mars voor Mars (die als inspiratie diende voor de muziek in de film ‘Gladiator’), een meeslepend, majestueus thema voor Jupiter en de vrouwen van het Symphony Chorus die zich bij het orkest voegen voor het mysterieuze, buitenaardse deel over Neptunus. Bovendien speelt onze eigen eerste altvioliste, MingYu Hsu, een solo in Bohuslav Martinů’s Rhapsody-Concerto voor altviool en orkest.
