NCAA Division II National Championships Festival

Kansas City is excited to host six NCAA championships held across the region.

Dec. 3–5, 2026

Visit KC, the Kansas City Sports Commission, the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and local partners are honored to host six NCAA Division II national championships, welcoming more than 900 student-athletes to compete across Kansas City and surrounding areas.

Division II is the only NCAA division that conducts “National Championships Festivals”—Olympic-style events in which several national championships are held at a single site over several days. This fall festival will feature women’s volleyball and field hockey, along with men’s and women’s soccer and cross country.
