Summit Art Member Show Brings Two Days of Art to Green Street:

Summit Art invites the community to enjoy two days celebrating local art and artists during the Summit Art Member Show, presented in partnership with the Lee’s Summit Cultural Commission and the Green Street Art Market Series.

The event will showcase works by Summit Art members in a variety of fine art mediums, including painting, fine art photography, pastels, drawing and mixed media. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet participating artists, view their work and purchase original art throughout the weekend.

The festivities begin Saturday, October 10, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. with Gallery Night — Artist Reception and Sale. Guests can meet the artists and browse artwork while enjoying complimentary refreshments and a cash bar.

On Sunday, October 11, from 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., the celebration continues with an all-day Art Market. The day will include art demonstrations at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., along with a children’s hands-on art activity and children’s art scavenger hunt available throughout the day
