Basic Sewing Workshop

This workshop will take you through the basics of hand sewing from garment mending to creation. You will even get to make and take home your own creation using a mid- 1800s pattern! Living history interpreters will tell you how mid-1800s men, women, and children sewed for necessity and fun. Pre-registration is required and class size is limited. Tickets will be available in the visitors center and online starting May 1st.
