The Sister Cities Association’s Guadalajara Committee and the UMKC Conservatory are thrilled to be launching the Midwest Mariachi Festival-KC!

 

10:00 AM to noon – mariachi music clinics guided by local, national, and international mariachi music instructors for music student from the Midwest region.

 

1:00 PM to 3:00 PM – clinics for music students and regional mariachi players who wish to hone their playing skills, guided by mariachi music instructor Jose Longoria from the University of Houston, and from Mariachi Herencia de Mexico from Guadalajara, Mexico.

 

7:00 PM to 9:00 PM – performance in White Recital Hall featuring Mariachi Herencia de Mexico with local performers.
