The Kansas City Design Center, based in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, collaborates with students, design professionals, and civic institutions to “envision a future where design drives meaningful change in our community.”
This showcase highlights the proposed Greenline KC, a transformative 10-mile multi-modal trail encircling downtown Kansas City, designed to enhance connectivity among neighborhoods, parks, and transit.
During the reception, mingle with students who collaborated with the Greenline Executive Subcommittee to develop guidelines and conceptual proposals for the project. The work focuses on a unified trail experience that reflects each segment’s unique character, defining engaging interactions along the trail, identifying missing links to improve neighborhood access, and establishing significant entry points and destinations.
The exhibition runs from Saturday, May 9 through Sunday, May 31. Explore how design can foster exploration and discovery in Kansas City.
Light refreshments available while supplies last.
