Kansas City is thrilled to once again host the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament. The 2026 event marks the 25th time that Kansas City will host a portion of the Tournament—more than any other city.

About the Tournament

The 2026 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held at T-Mobile Center, formerly known as Sprint Center, in Downtown Kansas City on Tuesday, March 10 through Saturday, March 14. The 2026 championship will be the 25th held in Kansas City (1997-2002, ’05, ’08, ’10-’26). Other cities to host the event include Dallas (2003-’04, ’06) and Oklahoma City (2007, ’09).

Houston claimed the title in 2025 after defeating Arizona in the championship game, 72-64.
