Fan Fest

Just across the street from the tournament action at Sprint Center is the Kansas City Power & Light District. Beginning Thursday, the District will host the Miller Lite Basketball Fan Fest presented by Sports Radio 810. The festive atmosphere includes watch parties, contests, live music, giveaways and more in the country’s biggest outdoor sports bar. Fan Fest is free to attend and open to all ages (21 and older after 9 p.m.).

 

Spirit Rallies

Get in the spirit with free pep rallies with appearances by each team's band, cheer squad and mascots. The rallies are hosted inside KC Live!, the Kansas City Power & Light District's open-air courtyard. The schedule is as follows:  

Thursday, March 23

  • (#3) Oregon: 4:10 - 4:30 p.m.
  • (#7) Michigan: 4:35 - 4:55 p.m.
  • (#1) Kansas: 5:00 - 5:20 p.m.
  • (#4) Purdue: 5:25 - 5:45 p.m.

Saturday, March 25

  • (#1) Kansas: 5:00 - 5:20 p.m.
  • Oregon will not hold a public spirit rally.

 

Open Practice Sessions

On Wednesday, March 22, all teams will hold practice sessions at Sprint Center. This event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the first 100 guests will receive an exclusive giveaway. Guests may enter through the Grand Boulevard entrance only. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult or parental guardian.

  • (#3) Oregon: 2:10 - 3 p.m.
