Corporate Social Responsibility - Voluntourism

Volunteering Experiences for Your KC Meeting

Nestled in the Heart of America, Kansas City is known for its friendly-midwestern charm. Part of that charm is a commitment to helping the community through volunteer activiites. We'd love to have your group join us in our city's efforts to spread kindness and good will through our Corporate Social Responsibility opportunities. The groups listed below appreciate your time and efforts. Contact them directly, or contact Jenny Wilson at the CVA for more information.

Operation Breakthrough

Operation Breakthrough is the largest single-site early education child care and social services facility in the state of Missouri serving over 400 children daily from the urban core.

The mission of Operation Breakthrough is to help children who are living in poverty develop to their fullest potential by providing them a safe, loving and educational environment.

These children are full of potential. With the right start, they can absolutely become the firefighter who comes to the rescue, the chef who feeds the town, the lawyer who fights for what's right or the doctor who saves the day. They can be contributors to the community. Together, we can give them the boost they need to get there.

Operation Breakthrough also strives to support and empower the children's families through advocacy, referral services and emergency aid.
