Each year, Brew at the Zoo features an animal that benefits from the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium's Conservation Fund. The fund is dedicated to preserving wildlife locally and globally. In 2024, we are climbing to new heights with the Matchie's Tree Kangaroo! The Zoo is a proud partner of the Tree Kangaroo Conservation Program (TKCP) and Tree Kangaroo SAFE (Saving Animals From Extinction). These programs play a crucial role in conserving tree kangaroos in their natural habitat and support the local communities where this critically endangered species resides in Papua New Guinea.
