Summer in the City September 17th Line-Up
12:00-1:00pm – Lunchtime Performance
Stephonne is an alternative/genrequeer singer-songwriter, cultural producer, and generative performing artist from Kansas City, MO. They synthesize music, written/spoken word, and visual art/media into an inimitable interdisciplinary practice. They share their struggles, triumphs, and journey to self-love through multidisciplinary performance and have sent audiences on visceral and experiential journeys through a multitude of music and video releases since 2015.

5:00 – 7:00pm – Art Market with Local Art Vendors:
Kelsey Pike’s brand Sustainable Paper + Craft, specializes in papers specifically designed for artists and makers, made from recycled fabric and other sustainable fibers.
Tokeya Waci U Richarsdon of Coup Count Designz is a member of the Oglala Lakota and Haliwa-Saponi tribes whose inspiration comes from the old teachings from childhood stories, read in books or told by elders in my tribe(s). Tokeya recreates a modern style of Native American Ledger art that traditionally uses its main purpose of having a visual reference to reflect the stories and teachings that one would hear from their elders.
Adrian Halpern, whose creative process often involves ink drawing, music production, laser engraving, video editing, and printmaking.
Steph Becker’s hand made and hand-painted ceramics are inspired by her love of animals, children’s book illustrations, and folk art.
Muriel Hansen is a ceramic artist, nature enthusiast, and avid reader. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, They work out of their home studio making functional pottery as Honey & Luster. Muriel is an active member of Cherry Pit Collective.
Sarah Taylor’s, A Craft and A Prayer, work is a combination of art, jewelry and assemblage with a touch of cartography.

6:00-7:00pm – Evening Performance
EZGi is an emerging Turkish music collective blending rhythmic funk basslines, dance-ready disco beats, and soulful melodies with distinctly Turkish musical sensibilities.
