Join us Sunday, August 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Central Park in Zona Rosa for an 816 Day celebration featuring Kansas City inspired entertainment and activities.

Guests can meet local artist Theo Davis as he creates a live watercolor painting of iconic Kansas City scenes. The event will also include appearances and photo opportunities with Blue from Sporting Kansas City, KC Wolf, Sluggerrr, Mac from the KC Mavericks, KC Roo and the UMKC dancers, and Sir George from Park University.

Additional highlights include a live DJ, frozen yogurt and chocolate treats from Fifth & Emery, community partner booths and family-friendly kids activities.

Visitors can also shop throughout Zona Rosa and take advantage of special 816 Day promotions offered by participating retailers. Guests are encouraged to participate in the citywide 816 Day Bingo scavenger hunt by scanning QR codes around Kansas City for a chance to win prizes.

Business owners, community partners and sponsors will be on-site throughout the event.

The event is free and open to the public.
