Ten New Features to Check Out at “The K” in 2009

By Kansas City Royals

There’s something exciting for everyone at the new Kauffman Stadium. Fans will enjoy an improved fan experience with unsurpassed amenities and state-of-the-art technology that will touch each and every fan entering the park.

It was tough, but we’ve narrowed our list to ten:

  1. Kauffman Stadium RenderingsTake in a game from the DRI DUCK Fountain Seats in left-center field. Local outerwear company DRI DUCK is sponsoring the new seating area—the first 100 fans to enter the area each game will receive a free cap courtesy of DRI DUCK – so for a $7 ticket, you could also get a free cap!

  2. Watch your little hitter swing for the fences at the new and expanded "Little K".

  3. Find your Royals Legacy Brick on the new grand walkway. Visit royals.com to order one today and be a part of Kauffman Stadium forever!

  4. Sit in on a Fox Sports Kansas City pregame show while enjoying a meal at Rivals, the new sports bar in right field.

  5. Ride the Royals-themed carousel and make sure to visit the brand-new Royals Team Stores.

  6. Kauffman Stadium RenderingsKeep up to date on stats and scores by scanning the new right-field scoreboard and new ribbon boards, which complement the mammoth and crystal-clear 8,800 square-foot CrownVision.

  7. Check out the open-air bar that sits atop the old JumboTron platform and has an amazing view of the playing field.

  8. Celebrate a special event, such as a birthday party, graduation, office gathering, etc. in style. The Rooftop Party Deck in right field, Hall of Fame Suites in left, and All-Star Suites join the popular Dugout Suites in the Kauffman Stadium group event lineup.

  9. Immerse yourself in team history at the Royals Hall of Fame (scheduled to be open around July), where you’ll be able to pay tribute to Royals greats including George Brett and Frank White.

  10. Take a 360-degree walk around Kauffman Stadium. Enjoy all of the extra space on the wider concourses, the statues in the outfield, the smells of ballpark fare, the sounds of a Major League game and cheer on the Royals to a win!
