NCAA Women's Regional Basketball Championship
College hoops are returning to Sprint Center for the Kansas City Regional of the 2010 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship.
Regional action begins with two games on Sunday, March 28, followed by a third game on Tuesday, March 30. Open practice will take place on Saturday, March 27.
Four teams will travel to Kansas City to compete for a chance to advance to the Final Four in San Antonio. The teams playing in KC are dependent upon First- and Second-Round play. The Kansas City games are hosted by the Big 12 Conference.
Kansas City last hosted the Women’s Regional in 2005.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Saturday, March 27
On Saturday, March 27, all teams will hold practice sessions at Sprint Center. This event is free and open to the public. Doors are scheduled to open at 11 a.m. and each team will practice for an hour. Guests must visit the Sprint Center Box Office at 14th & Grand to obtain a complimentary ticket for entry. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult or parental guardian.

TRANSPORTATION
In an effort to ease traffic downtown, fans are encouraged to use public transportation. The Metro and MAX rapid bus service offer convenient service to downtown from the Plaza and Crown Center hotels. Fares are $1.50 each way. Go to www.kcata.org for more information.
