Our experience while staying at the Holiday Inn at the Plaza was some good, some bad. The good was the close proximity to the Country Club Plaza (we walked to almost everything!), the free happy hour on our first day there, the free shuttle within a 2 mile radius, free garage parking, nice pool area, and the friendly staff.
That being said, the bad was: we saw a cockroach 3 different times in our room!, They were working on the A/C in the hallways, so they were very hot & stuffy (room was fine though--very cold) and the ice machine was very far from our room and didn't work half the time. The room was not very large, but nice enough.
This may surprise you , but if they took care of the roach issue, then we might stay there again due to the price being so much less than the surrounding hotels for the wonderful location.
