Worlds of Fun is the premier amusement park destination in the Midwest, offering 235 acres of excitement and fun for every member of the family, including the newly renovated Oceans of Fun.
Worlds of Fun will offer more value than ever in 2013 by combining both Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun to a one ticket admission. With both parks for the price of one in 2013, every guest will have access to 235-acres of rides, shows, and attractions, complete with a massive water park expansion and new slide complex.
For thrill seekers, an impressive line-up of seven world-class roller coasters and dozens of thrill rides offers dips and loops from big to small.
Along with world-class coasters, Worlds of Fun features dozens of other thrill rides. Guests experience the sensation of a coaster loop on ThunderHawk, a gravity-defying freefall on the 200-foot tall Detonator tower and a river rapid adventure on Fury of the Nile.
Planet Snoopy features 18 rides, a bounce house, a foam ball factory, daily character appearances and a brand-new show designed just for kids and parents. Together, families can take a trip around Planet Snoopy on 4x4 monster trucks, soar through the air on rocket ships, take to the skies in a forty-foot hot air balloon ride, or brave the seas in Lucy’s Tugboat. Plus, cap off a perfect day in the park with a hug from Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy and their friends!

Kansas City...Thrilling, Creating, Refreshing
1. The sunrises over the Boomerang at Worlds of Fun in anticipation of the exciting day ahead. We spent a fulfilling 14 hours in the park.
2. At The Crayola Cafe in Crown Plaza, a sun and moon were transformed into an octopus and vampire...and the food was good too!
3. The beautiful entrance to the Hall of Waters beckons visitors inside to the water bar for some rehydration at the end of a adventure filled day exploring KC.

We love Worlds of Fun. I went there as a kid in the summers and have brought my family back a few times. We always buy a photo of us on this ride. It makes us laugh for years and years.

My wife and I visited worlds of fun recently and were very, very disappointed in their accessibility accommodations. Their website stated if you can transfer to their rides unassisted, there would be no problem with any of their rides. Upon arrival we were turned away from the first ride we approached. I have been a paraplegic for 25 years and have taught everything from waterskiing to road racing, no amature by any means, yet was treated like a Sub Citizen. The Guest Services tried to conceal the fact that they had misrepresented their Accessibility status, and only wanted to return our money and get us out of the park as fast as possible. We traveled from Nebraska for my wife's birthday to the park. This was very disappointing to say the least. I give Worlds of fun an "F" . This is the 21st century, WAKE UP.

My wife, my 9 year old son, and I just returned from a long Labor Day Holiday weekend in Kansas City. We had such a terrific time, we can not wait to return! There are so many fun and interesting things to do, it is hard to know where to start!
The rides at World's of Fun are fantastic, and rival (or exceed) those at Six Flags or Disney. Union Station is not only an incredible architectural masterpiece, but also houses an incredible "hands on" science center and planetarium. The Kansas City Zoo is world class, and the World War I monument and museum are a fitting tribute to our brave forefathers who fought to preserve our freedoms. Shopping opportunity abounds with retailers to fit all tastes at locations including Crown Center, The Plaza, and Oak Park Mall.
Kansas City cuisine...where do I start! Some of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at... anywhere. The only bad part about the trip? When we had to leave. But we will definitely return.

I grew up loving my rural hometown, but Kansas City has convinced me there is much to love in the city! KC offers a plentitude of entertainment, educational, and employment opportunities. Housing is affordable, and the people are friendly!
This summer I asked my nieces from back home to come visit Aunt Codi in the "big city." Because KC is so family friendly, I was able to show my nieces all sorts of fun! Below are pictures from the KC Zoo and Worlds of Fun. My nieces and I made memories in KC that will last a lifetime.
Another great thing about KC is that in this city is my favorite volunteer organization: Camp Quality; Camp Quality is a summer camp and year-round support network for children with cancer. Camp Quality draws upon the kind hearts of KC-members who generously support the organization with fundraisers, donations, supplies, services, and precious volunteer work. KC truly makes miracles happen for local children with cancer!
This is a great place to call home!

I just took a weekend trip to Kansas City to take my neice and nephew to a Royals game, Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. I myself remember wonderful vacations to Kansas City and I wanted to share the experience with them. They had so much fun. It was one the best weekends I have had in a very long time.
Really Cool

Coming down from Topeka, (where there is nothing to do) KC offers fantastic fun. Every thing from Worlds of fun, to museums, Union Station with incredible exhibits, so many places to eat and shop it would take for ever to go through all of them, pretty scenery, good prices. Thank God it is so close to Topeka so Topekan's can acutally go some where for fun. Winning any thing going to KC would be great. Thanks, Brian
