What's your insider tip for someone visiting Kansas City’s attractions?

You need a whole weekend, at least. I recommend staying in the Country Club Plaza. Also, fall is an absolutely beautiful time to visit.

What do you love best about Kansas City?

The History. We are recognized for our Blues, BBQ, the West Bottoms, and the Livestock Exchange. These things make up the history and flavor of Kansas City.

Blue Bird Bistro_006_LA.jpgIf you only had three places to take a visitor in one night, where would you take them?

Blue Bird Bistro for eclectic organic regional produce and meat. They hold meet and greets with farmers and serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Also they’re very accommodating if you have food allergies. New Theatre Restaurant has wonderful dinners with Broadway-style comedies and musicals. Pinache Chocolatier on the Country Club Plaza. We’d stroll through the Plaza nibbling chocolate.
