The Kansas City CVA has created an Online Calendar Widget that can easily be posted to any Web site via an iFrame. It's very simple to add the calendar to your Web site.

The Online Calendar lets visitors:

• View a list of major events planned in KC for the coming week.
• Click on a highlighted event to learn more about it.
• Search a list of events by a specific day.
• Cycle through the months to see upcoming events.

Adding the Calendar(s) to Your Web Site

Follow the simple steps below to install the calendar on your Web site.

1. Download the iFrame code below.
2. Add the title Upcoming Events or This Week in KC on your Web site just above where you want to add the calendar.
3. Open the source code on the page you would like to embed the calendar.
4. Paste the iFrame code onto the source code of your Web page.
5. Publish the updated page to your server.
6. Send the KCCVA an e-mail notifying us you have added the calendar to your Web site.

Online Calendar Sample

We have two versions of the calendar available. The Upcoming Events calendar highlights events this week and also includes a clickable calendar. The This Week in KC calendar highlights upcoming events in KC planned in the next seven days.

You will want to add a title (Upcoming Events or This Week in KC) for the calendar on your page. We did not include the title to allow you to easily integrate the calendar(s) with the existing look and feel of your Web site.
