Buttonwood Art Space
Buttonwood Art Space is a place for visitors to experience local and regional art during two-month-long exhibitions in our pre-1880s building at 3013 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri atop Union Hill and close to Crown Center and Union Station. Many of our art shows benefit art organizations and charities in the greater Kansas City area and are based on different themes or mediums. Buttonwood annually hosts "Visions of the Flint Hills" an art benefit raising funds for promotion and preservation of the unique tall-grass prairie in the Flint Hills area of Kansas. We routinely host four to five “First Friday” Opening nights per year and are a participating gallery with the Crossroads Art District. Over 7,500 square feet within our office building makes it a unique place to find local art! Open 9am - 5pm Mon.-Fri., or by appointment.
