Interesting that over the past year not much has improved. Arrived at 6:15 PM on a Friday evening in July '09. Warm beer was produced. The waiter acted as if it was a hardship to provide a cold glass. Two beers at $3.00 each. Gave him a $20.00 I received $12.00 in change. There is NO EXCUSE for warm beer at 6 PM. even if you are a wine bar. Five members of my party had warm beer - not all the same brand. I'd say this place doesn't know how to run a bar and doesn't really care. Substandard. Go elsewhere.

Where do I begin? The service was insufficient to my party's needs. Prices were outrageous for the quality of dining. Poor seating accomodations for medium sized parties. Ridiculed and Ignored by an elitist manager (John D... Have some salsa with that chip on your shoulder). Thanks for the memories. We won't be back.
Look elsewhere!

My wife and I chose Vinino's for our first trip to the Power & Light district. My first impression of Vinino's was not good. When I tried to call and confirm dress code they didn't answer the phone even around 3:00 to 4:30 in the afternoon a typically slow time. I found out when I arrived that dress code is casual not business casual. The service we experienced was poor the server didn't know anything about wine and this is a wine bar! The menu layout for wine is poor as it is organized by price and not type of wine. Trying to find a glass of cab was challenging! The time to get our food was slow and there were very few people in the restaurant. Once we our food was delivered the presentation was nice but the quality was only fair at best. Bottom line is there are wonderful places to eat in KC but unfortunately this is not one of them!
