Celebrate the city’s deep Irish roots at Kansas City Irish Fest, held every Labor Day weekend at Crown Center Square in Downtown Kansas City.
Irish Fest comes to life with five stages of traditional music and Celtic rock from international, national and locally known bands, a Feis (Irish dance competition), heritage displays and workshops, shopping, ethnic food, a special area just for kids and an outdoor Mass on Sunday morning. Kansas City visitors chose KC Irish Fest as the best festival in the city for the KCCVA's 2007 Visitors' Choice Awards.
Kansas City Irish Fest offers an affordable weekend packed with music and culture. The adjacent Hyatt Regency Crown Center and Westin Crown Center hotels offer special Irish Fest rates, which include two tickets to the festival. For more information, go to www.kcirishfest.com.

I love the KC Irish Fest. Each year it gets bigger and better. My family comes down from Omaha every year to experience fantastic Irish music, dance, crafts, & culture for a very fair price.

My family and I have a blast here every year. We started coming in for one night many years ago, but the fest offers so much to do that we started to book a hotel for the entire weekend. It's a family tradition now and the kids can't wait to come each year. So many good bands. Lots of kids activities. It's a fun, affordable family activity over Labor Day.
