Lodge at Museum Hill Bed & Breakfast for a distinct and unique experience. The house was previously featured in This Old House Magazine and Missouri Life Magazine. Museum Hill is not the typical B&B.

The house was built in the 1880s and is a National Historical District Landmark Home. The property sits on top of a hill overlooking the archetectural beauty of St. Joseph. Enjoy the view of the city relaxing on the wrap around porch or side lawn furniture with a glass of wine.

There are four very elegant rooms. All have antique furniture, private baths, fluffy towels, fresh flowers, luxury linens, speciality lotions and soaps and "sounds of nature" clocks. Enjoy conversation, resting and reading in the common areas that include: a very large great room with an antique upright piano and an original RCA Voice Talking Machine Company Victorola, a formal dining area, a guest library (with Direct TV, DVD/VCR) and an upstairs guest kitchen stocked with beverages, snacks, coffee machine, refrigerator and microwave.

Every morning a gourmet, hearty, signature breakfast is served on the finest china and will last you all day.

Museum Hill B & B cares about its guests. All guests receive a tour of the home, and introduction to the romance and history of St. Joseph and Museum Hill's exclusive, self-guided driving and walking tour brochure.

Enrich yourself in time travel visiting all 17 museums. You can walk to restaurants, shopping, museums, an art gallery, a movie theatre, the symphony and many other performing arts shows in the famous Missouri Theatre.

Or take a walk along the Missouri River down on the River Walk, part of the Lewis and Clark trail.

Visit St. Joseph, where the Pony Express began and legendary Jesse James ended.
