"Mad Men" dresses from the 1940s-1950s: Vintage Fashions in Kansas City. Vintage fashions, historic photographs and trade artifacts from the days (1920s-1980s) when Kansas City was one of the largest manufacturing and distribution centers in the country for ladies, men's and children's apparel. Fashion exhibits, which include millinery of the same era, are changed seasonally. The Museum is open to the public on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It is located in an historic building in the heart of the Garment District (on the National Registry of Historic Places since 1973) and is across the street from the Garment District Park.
