Suburban community Leawood is now the site of Johnson County's first mixed-use development to incorporate green space. Once all phases are completed, the project will boast more than 1 million square feet of shopping, dining, and office space. The development will include two parks, a skating rink, a trails system, and two new hotel concepts: Element by Westin and Aloft by W Hotels.
